Fox Broadcasting Chief Marketing Officer Angela Courtin is leaving the company after a year and a half in the position.

Courtin joined Fox in late summer 2015, moving from her post as CMO at Relativity Media just as the company filed for bankruptcy.

The exit from Fox is said to be amicable, and she is leaving to pursue other opportunities. The job was determined to not be the best fit for her and her departure is a mutual decision, Deadline reports.

Courtin plans to stay on for a couple weeks for a smooth transition, and a search is currently underway for a replacement.

Fox also hired Tommy Gargotta to executive vice president, creative marketing, in February.

At Fox, Courtin oversaw on-air and off-air promotion and advertising, national media, multi-platform and affiliate marketing, design and social media.

At Relativity, she handled film, TV and sports marketing, along with branding and advertising campaigns. She also launched and oversaw Relativity Digital and managed the company’s branded entertainment and consumer products division Madvine, according to Variety.

Prior to Relativity, she was president of Dentsu Aegis Network U.S., and worked as chief content officer at Aegis Media. She’s also held executive marketing positions at MTV and MySpace, and served as an associate producer on HBO’s Big Love.
