CBS offers up a first look at the manhunt competition series The Hunted, premiering Sunday, Jan. 22.

In the reality series, nine sets of contestants are turned into imaginary fugitives on the run from experts from the CIA, the FBI, U.S. Marshal Service and Navy Seals all combining state-of-the-art tracking methods along with traditional tactics to catch them as they attempt to disappear in today’s digital world, as seen in the trailer below.

Hunters in the field and Command Center investigators work together to identify clues to potential hiding places and collaborators that ultimately can lead to capture.

In order to be victorious, any team of two that evades capture for up to 28 days, within 100,000 square miles of the southeastern United States, will be awarded a grand prize totaling $250,000.

“I want to say that I got away from the best of the best,” says one contestant in the trailer.

The show will get the Survivor time slot for its premiere after the NFL AFC championship game, and will then move to its regular slot of Wednesday at 8 p.m. starting Jan. 25.
