CBS is celebrating National TV Dinner Day this year with more than just a Lean Cuisine in front of summer reruns.

For September 10’s National TV Dinner Day (a real holiday), CBS Television Studios is inviting comedy fans to a special dinner party and screening. After dinner with the shows’ stars in attendance, CBS will screen exclusive looks at “The Millers” and “We Are Men,” two of CBS’ upcoming comedies.

The event will be hosted by comedian JB Smoove, who plays Ray on “The Millers.”

Brief Take: CBS is utilizing a unique holiday to promote its new comedies, and though it’s an obscure day, it’s a solid way to get the word out.
