CBS All Access and Showtime’s over-the-top streaming service have reached a collective 10 million subscribers, said ViacomCBS Chief Digital Officer and CBS Interactive Chief Executive Officer Marc DeBevoise at winter press tour in Pasadena, Calif., on Sunday.

“We’re in a great position to hit our goals of 25 million subscribers by 2022,” DeBevoise told reporters.

CBS All Access made a slew of programming announcements on Sunday, including that it has already renewed Star Trek: Picard, starring Patrick Stewart, for season two even though the show doesn’t debut until January 23.

“The energy and excitement around the premiere of Star Trek: Picard has reached a magnitude greater than all of us at CBS All Access could have hoped for,” said Julie McNamara, executive vice president, original content, CBS All Access. “We’re thrilled to announce plans for a second season before the series’ debut, and we are confident that Star Trek fans and new viewers alike will be captured by the stellar cast and creative team’s meticulously crafted story when it premieres on January 23.”

CBS All Access also is just starting to expand into children’s content, announcing at TCA that it had ordered several programs based on famous brands, including Mr. Magoo, George of the Jungle and Lassie.

Also announced on the CBS All Access side were the star-studded cast for season two of Jordan Peele’s reboot of The Twilight Zone, which includes Billy Porter, Chris Meloni, Joel McHale and Jimmi Simpson. CBS’ Late Show host and executive producer Stephen Colbert is executive producing an animated series for the streamer, and Richard Linklater is executive producing a docu-series for the service.

For its part, CBS has a Silence of the Lambs-inspired series, Clarice, in the works, and will celebrate the upcoming 40th season of the original reality competition series, Survivor, with a retrospective later this spring.
