J.K. Rowling’s novel, The Casual Vacancy, has aired on BBC and now is heading to HBO in states, to the delight of Rowling fans everywhere, although keep in mind that The Casual Vacancy bears no resemblance to Rowling’s beloved Harry Potter tomes.

The new trailer for its April debut (above) tells of one’s man death that starts a sequence of secrets, lies and damaging tales that their way through the quiet town of Pagford. The HBO and BBC seem to be promoting the event slightly differently, but both the BBC and HBO, however, focused on one line in their trailers for the miniseries event: “Everyone’s got skeletons rattling in their cupboard.”
