Cartoon Network has launched a new initiative, “CNCheckIn,” to keep kids safe, creative and entertained during the coronavirus pandemic.

The initiative includes public service announcements and tutorials, including hand-washing tips, how to stay in touch with friends, and how to stay active while practicing social distancing. It’s also providing a series of do-it-yourself projects for kids to try like how-to-draw character lessons:

The campaign also includes narrated interstitials encouraging kids to get up and dance; new, unlocked episodes of current series like Ben 10; access to 20 classic series like Dexter’s Laboratory; and downloadable backgrounds from Adventure Time, Steven Universe and more.

“We always strive to meet our audience where they are, and right now we know that many of them are at home, trying to figure out this new normal,” Jill King, SVP marketing and partnerships, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Boomerang, said in a statement. “If we can use our characters to convey simple, yet important safety messages, and keep kids entertained in this difficult time, we are all in.

As social distancing continues to be in full effect, Cartoon Network isn’t the first brand to address kids during this time on uncertainty. Nickelodeon and Disney Channel last month both launched campaigns to address kids’ concerns and provide helpful tips from its beloved cast and characters.
