Steve Bornstein will step down as president and CEO for the NFL Network when his contract expires in May 2014.
He will be succeeded by Brian Rolapp, who has been COO for NFL Media since January 2011 and has been with the NFL since 2003. He has been active with the league’s digital deals, notably Verizon and Xbox.
Bornstein, president of NFL Network and head media executive for the NFL, joined the NFL in 2002, one year before the launch of the NFL Network, for which he played a vital role. Previously he was president of ESPN.
