Brent Lang has joined New York City-based creative production studio Versus as director of client partnerships focusing on entertainment and streaming. He will be based in Los Angeles.

“We couldn’t be happier to have Brent join our growing team here at Versus, and establish a footprint for us in Los Angeles,” said Tony Kadillak, Versus’ EP, business strategy, in a statement. “He has the ideal background, knowledge, and drive to make a meaningful contribution to our entertainment efforts.”

Lang comes to Versus from Compadre, where he served as director of business development.

Prior to that, Lang worked as an art department coordinator at ABC Studios and at Digital Kitchen as an associate producer. He also spent several years as a freelance producer and writer, working on marketing projects for such clients as Buzzfeed and Fullscreen.

He also has collaborated with such top media brands as ESPN, Nickelodeon and NBC Sports on major sporting events, and also has run campaigns for Amazon’s Rings of Power and Paramount’s Star Trek properties.
