Brent Lang has been named vice president, client partnerships at Los Angeles-based agency Mocean, a Promax North America Agency of the Year.

In his new role, Lang will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding Mocean’s portfolio of entertainment, sports and brand clients.

Lang comes to Mocean with more than a decade of experience in the industry, having worked for such agencies as Versus, Compadre and Digital Kitchen. He also has worked for broadcast networks ABC and Fox. At Fox, he worked in casting and played a supporting role on hit musical series Glee for two seasons.

They have a fantastic legacy and sterling reputation for creative excellence in the entertainment biz,” said Lang in a statement. “I’m eager to add my expertise to the massive amount of talented designers, writers, producers and creatives at this agency. I feel like I’ve been handed the keys to a Ferrari in this role!”

Lang will work out of Mocean’s Los Angeles headquarters, reporting to Coates.
