Bozoma Saint John has been named chief marketing officer of talent management and representation firm Endeavor, joining the Beverly Hills-based company from Uber.

“Boz’s strong creative vision has the power to create cultural moments that are transformative for brands,” said Ariel Emanuel, CEO, Endeavor, in a statement. “We’re excited for what it means when her vision comes face-to-face with our client roster and portfolio of brands who are shaping the cultural conversation around the world every day.”

“Boz leaves an indelible mark on every brand, product, and event she encounters,” said Mark Shapiro, co-president, WME/IMG. “She’s not afraid to ask the tough questions, take bold risks, and demand the best out of everyone. She’s a true agent of change, and we’re looking forward to having her help us usher in a new era of innovation for our clients and our own brand.”

Prior to working for Uber, Saint John worked for Arnold Worldwide and then PepsiCo, where she led the company’s entertainment marketing efforts for nearly a decade. After that, she went to Beats Music, where she remained after Apple acquired the company. She then left Apple for Uber.

At Endeavor, Saint John will drive marketing efforts and oversee global marketing clients and premium brands. She’ll also work across Endeavor’s growing global network of companies including WME, IMG, UFC, Professional Bull Riders, The Miss Universe Organization and media and arts company Frieze.
