Content creation studio Bodega has signed Mary Knox, Shauna Seresin, and James Bartlett of Minerva X Mr. Bartlett for its East Coast animation team.

Prior to launching Minerva, Knox served as managing director for Smoke & Mirrors and was a member of the AICP’s Digital Board for six years. Seresin was head of sales at Amber Music and a producer at London-based CHI & Partners (since renamed The & Partnership) and Smoke & Mirrors.

Barlett, who has worked business development for over 15 years, partnered with Minerva earlier this year with his representation company, Mr. Bartlett. His former tenures include Framestore, The Sweet Shop, and Animal Logic.

“Mary, Shauna, and James are the perfect team to represent Bodega Animation. They understand animation and the ever-increasing creative role it plays in today’s storytelling focused media landscape,” said Bodega Animation EP Bill Hewes.

The trio join its current roster comprising Dave Anderson, Will Barras, Julien Bisaro, Sylvain Chomet, Colab, Kirk Hendry, Cris Wiegandt, Unomas, and Woodwork, all of whom are part of London-based HU_SH, as well as Daniel Cohen, Ken Duncan, Iamstatic, Haley Morris, Mr Wonderful, and Alon Ziv.

The studio, based in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, is best known for creating commercials, brand content, opens, and more for all platforms.

“We are thrilled to be working with both the great talent at Bodega and the full-service production and post resources Bill Hewes and the rest of his team provide,” Knox said.
