In a new Netflix featurette, cast members from Bloodline talk about what it was like to film the series in the Florida Keys, the conflict in season one, and the building tension in season two.

“It gets more intense and people are asking more questions,” says Kyle Chandler, who plays John Rayburn.

Netflix released over three minutes of footage, featuring clips from season two as the show’s stars discuss their character’s perspectives and emotions, and hint at what to expect when 10 new episodes become available May 27 on Netflix.

“You’re going to see characters who are bonded by a terrible secret,” says Norbert Leo Butz, who plays Kevin Rayburn.

In season two, the Rayburn family struggles to conceal their horrible crime, and begin to unravel in the midst of mounting lies, betrayal and paranoia as the show goes deeper into the web of lies.

“There are less ways to keep everything covered up,” Chandler says. “Things are being revealed.”

Titled Two Sides of the Keys, the video also provides a unique perspective about filming in the isolated environment of the Florida Keys.

“It’s beautiful; it really is picturesque,” says Meg Rayburn actress Linda Cardellini.

“So, it appears to be one thing,” Sissy Spacek (Sally Rayburn) says, “and then the sun goes down, and there’s a grittiness to it.”
