Directors Isabel Garrett and Samuel Mason have signed with London-based animation studio BlinkInk for representation. Garrett has signed on globally while Mason joins the roster for representation in the UK and the Netherlands.

Garrett, who is Welsh, graduated from London’s National Film and Television School. Her specialty is handcrafting tactile stop-motion pieces. She was formerly a resident artist at the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen’s Sarabande Foundation, where she made films that combined her animation craft with her dark sense of humor.

Commissioned by Sarabande, her upcoming short film Bod captures the beauty of characters designed by sculptor and performance artist Daisy Collingridge. The film is set for online release January 19 with an event celebrating the launch at Sarabande Studios in London.

Garrett has directed films commissioned by McQueen, Amazon and the BBC.

Mason is a director and visual artist who has received global recognition for his films. Mason has shot music videos as well as traversed the world of commercials with films for Honda, Spotify, Facebook and the New York Times.
