Nickelodeon’s Big Nate – rule breaker, trouble maker, risk taker – is back and he’s creating all sorts of chaos. The Shop cut the above season-two trailer, which reveals how all of Nate’s scheming sometimes has catastrophic consequences.

Big Nate is based on the best-selling children’s books and comic strip written and drawn by Lincoln Peirce. It stars Ben Giroux as Nate Wright, Dove Cameron as Ellen Wright, and Rob Delaney as Martin Wright. Also starring this season are Bryce Charles, Daniel MK Cohen, Arnie Pantoja, Charlie Schlatter, Ali Stroker, Kevin Michael Richardson, Carolyn Hennesy, Nik Dodani, Betsy Sodaro, Lisa Kay Jennings, Chandni Parekh, Todd Haberkorn, Ryan Garcia, Mike Rivkin and Chester Rushing.

Guest stars this season are Laraine Newman, Matthew Lillard, JB Blanc, Maya Aoki Tuttle and Stephanie Sheh.

Big Nate is executive produced by Mitch Watson (All Hail King Julien) and John Cohen (The Angry Birds Movie) and produced by Amy McKenna (Beware the Batman) and Patrick Inness (The Adventures of Kid Danger) with Peirce serving as consulting producer. Bridget McMeel is co-producer and Jim Mortensen is supervising producer.

Big Nate starts streaming on Paramount Plus in the U.S. and Canada on Friday, July 7, and the next day in the U.K. Additional international markets premiere later this year.
