A year of mergers and deals has reshuffled the list of the Top 30 television station groups based on advertising revenue, according to TVNewsCheck.

The site compiles the list every year based on revenue estimates from BIA/Kelsey.

Gone are Albritton, Belo, LIN, Local TV, and Young.

But the top three spots on TVNewsCheck’s list remained the same, with Fox Television Stations in first ($1.7 billion), CBS Televisions Stations in second ($1.5 billion), and Sinclair Broadcast Group in third ($1.34 billion).

Elsewhere in the top 10, ABC Owned Television Stations, Hearst, and Univision all were down anywhere from one to three spots, while Tribune and Gannett rose.

Media General had the biggest jump from No. 17 last year to No. 8 this year, which the site attributes to its pending acquisition of LIN.
