BBC America may have the most intense fans in the world, and San Diego Comic-Con is the network’s time to give back. Over the weekend, it did so in the guise of fan meetups for Orphan Black and Doctor Who. Whovians might end up ruling the multiverse, but there might not be a more ferocious and socially vocal fanbase than the #CloneClub, the moniker for fans of BBC America’s cult hit Orphan Black starring the incomparable Tatiana Maslany.

For the second year in a row, BBC America will be rewarding the #CloneClub with an official fan meetup, announced on the club’s wildly popular Tumblr page. Following the success of last year’s dance party, this year BBC America and Orphan Black brought “Alison’s Victory Brunch” to San Diego, staged from 10 AM to 12 PM at the House of Blues (1056 6th Ave) bar.

Hours before the event, the line for the brunch wrapped around House of Blues, with “cloneplay” aplenty and a buzzy, “woo”-ing atmosphere. The first-come, first-serve event was open to anybody, whether or not he or she possessed an official Comic-Con badge.

Once inside, the packed bar featured video mash-ups and beats by Eclectic Method, a “Seestra” tattoo station, “Fee’s” Photo Booth (the resulting gif can be shared on social media), a fan art wall, cotton candy, pastries, snacks, mimosas, a cosplay contest, a bedazzling eyepatch station and fan events around the clock. The party kicked off with the #CloneClub Fan Feud, BBC America’s version of the immortal game show Family Feud, hosted by star Kristian Bruun, and featuring Marie Doyle Kennedy and Dylan Bruce as the leaders of their respective teams, Leda and Castor.

It was a fitting celebration for the show’s fans, mirroring Alison Hendrix’s campaign win in the third season finale of the hit show.

The festivities didn’t end at 12 PM; at 2:30 through 4:30 PM, the BBC America fun continued with a Doctor Who fan meetup, with similar activities and special events, all under the Who banner. Yes, that means a Weeping Angel photo booth.

It also means “The Men of Orphan Black” conversation for a cause at NerdHQ at 2 PM on Saturday, with Jordan Gavaris, Dylan Bruce, Kristian Bruun and Ari Millen.
