BBC America turned to footage of classic screams in a fun promo for ‘BBC AAAAAAmerica,’ teasing a week of Halloween-themed programming that includes movie marathons, a takeover of The X-Files, and hours of Hitchcockian horror.
Kicking off October 26, the network teamed up with AMC’s streaming service for “Shudder Saturday,” a new partnership that will feature Shudder original films, including the television premieres of Revenge and The Witch in the Window.
The programming block also includes 24 hours of episodes of The X-Files, Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo, Psycho, The Birds, and Rear Window, Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Men in Black I and II. Additional movie highlights include Fright Night, Red Dragon, and the “scariest” Doctor Who episodes from recent seasons.
