Apple TV+ on Thursday dropped another trailer for an original program that will premiere when the streaming service launches Nov. 1. Today’s is for space drama For All Mankind, which imagines what would have happened if the Soviet Union beat the U.S. to the moon in 1969.
When the U.S. misses the moon landing, President Richard Nixon decides to one-up his rivals and send women. This team of female astronauts is played by Wrenn Schmidt, Shantel VanSanten, Sarah Jones and Jodi Balfour, among others.
The series—which also stars Joel Kinnaman, Chris Bauer and Michael Dorman—comes from showrunnner Ronald D. Moore, the executive producer behind Syfy’s remake of Battlestar Galactica and Starz’ Outlander.
The trailer is appropriately set to Aerosmith’s classic rock anthem, “Dream On.”
Other original series coming to Apple TV+’s slate are Hailee Steinfeld’s Dickinson, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston’s The Morning Show and Jason Momoa’s See.
