Friends From College opens with more than a few F-bombs, and closes with some drunken, slow-motion sauntering in Netflix’s official trailer for the original show.
The comedy series is ripe with anxiety and affairs as a group of friends from Harvard face their forties. The well-known cast includes Keegan-Michael Key (Ethan), Cobie Smulders (Lisa), Annie Parisse (Sam), Nat Faxon (Nick), Fred Savage (Max) and Jae Suh Park (Marianne).
The trailer shows Key and Smulders as a couple who just moved to New York City, putting them closer to their friend group from college, as series explores old friendships, former romantic entanglements and balancing adult life with nostalgia for the past.
Friends From College is executive produced by Nicholas Stoller (Neighbors, Neighbors: Sorority Rising, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him to the Greek), who also directs all eight episodes. Francesca Delbanco serves as an executive producer and writer.
The series premieres July 14 on Netflix.
