Anhelo Reyes has been named senior vice president, consumer marketing, for Paramount Network, said Niels Schuurmans, chief marketing officer for Paramount Network, TV Land and CMT to whom she will report.
Paramount Network, which is being rebranded from Spike, is scheduled to launch January 2018.
“Anhelo is a dynamic, creative, and forward-thinking marketer who has a wealth of brand-building experience,” said Schuurmans in a statement. “This experience will be vital as we bring our premium cinematic Paramount Network brand to life in the coming months.”
In her new position, Reyes will be responsible for driving the development and execution of all brand and franchise consumer marketing strategy. She will oversee all off-channel marketing with paid media, events and promotions and promotional partnerships. She will also be charged with developing Paramount Network’s digital strategy.
Reyes moves to the new network from Spike, where she served as vice president, brand marketing and activation overseeing brand and consumer marketing. Prior to that, Reyes served as vice president, marketing at Fusion, an ABC-Univision joint venture, where she led marketing efforts around the network’s launch.
She also spent seven years with another Viacom-owned network, Nickelodeon. Most recently, she was vice president, property planning and marketing where she oversaw the development of long-term strategic marketing plans to support Nickelodeon’s major program launches. Reyes joined Nickelodeon in 2006.
Reyes earned a Bachelor and Master degree in Media Studies from the New School.
