Ambassadors are a vital part of PromaxBDA’s year-round initiatives, helping the organization by acting as a liaison between their companies and PromaxBDA’s ongoing conferences, events and content plans.
PromaxBDA ambassadors, appointed by their respective networks, represent their corners of the industry within PromaxBDA. Without this program, PromaxBDA loses its very important and very strong bridge between the association and its members.
On Tuesday at noon, we honor their continuing efforts toward the industry with an Ambassador Luncheon, featuring a talk called “Creatively Managing Creative People Toward a Creative Career.” During the luncheon given for the ambassadors, Roger Hyde, SVP of creative services and brand integrity, DIRECTV; Chuck Carey, marketing and branding entrepreneur; and Richard Loomis, SVP and CMO of Disney Channels Worldwide will participate in a discussion about how to keep creative teams inspired and motivated.
In a world of deadlines and paperwork, creative teams are finding it harder to stay encouraged. In this discussion, these panelists hope to offer some advice and best practices for how to keep a creative team on track while keeping morale high.
This session topic was provided by the ambassadors in a proposal submission. For the past three years, ambassadors have submitted ideas for what they would like to hear during their luncheon, which PromaxBDA staff then narrows down to a few options so that the ambassadors can vote on their favorite, which is how “Creatively Managing Creative People Toward a Creative Career” came to be.
Ambassadors: Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity and attend the Ambassador Luncheon at noon in Olympic 3 on Tuesday, June 18.
And don’t miss the Conference sessions given by fellow ambassadors Lara Richardson (“Horror Stories: Nightmare Campaigns and How They Were Turned Around”) and Kevin Vitale (“Small Networks, Big Creative”) both at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ambassadors Terry Minogue (“6 Things About the Television Business You Need to Know… and Why” at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday) and Chris Donovan (“Storytelling” at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday) will also be participating in Promo Boot Camp in Plaza 1,2,3.
