Amazon presented fanfiction writers all over with a reason to celebrate this week. Its new Kindle Worlds, a publishing platform allowing them to earn royalities, provides a space online where authors can finally earn a buck for their stories about the “Pretty Little Liars.”

The new platform is part of a deal between Amazon’s publishing arm and Warner Bros. Alloy Entertainment division and allows writers to publish their stories about licensed TV shows and characters from The CW and ABC Family. These stories can be published in the Kindle store and depending on how well they do, authors can earn royalties from fans buying their stuff.
