Los Angeles- and London-based Alibi Music has released four new albums of music intended for use in premium series launch promos as well as film trailers.
Each of the four albums —Vigilante, Magna Carta, Radiance and Manufactura—are filled with genres of music intended to accompany related TV and movie content.
“With series launch promos, a powerful and lasting first impression is everything. It’s about arming editors with exquisitely mastered tracks, stems and alt mixes that are both moving and memorable,” said Sam Wale, Alibi’s vice president of creative production. “These four new albums were expressly produced to tease stories viewers won’t want to miss.”
Vigilante is composed expressly by eight top composers to accompany dark, heroic dramas, and was created with Marvel and DC trailers in mind.
Magna Carta offers cinematic, action-drama sound by first-time Alibi collaborator Rafaël Frost. The album fuses orchestral themes with electronic elements and sound design, lending itself to a wide range of TV and movie genres.
Radiance serves up drama with an undertone of sci-fi and action undertone. This cinematic hybrid is composed by longtime Alibi collaborator Jeff Dodson, who describes the album as organic drums hitting with huge, vintage synths processed with modern spectral effects and glued together with powerful, motivating orchestral melodies.
Manufactura is a heavy industrial album also composed by Jeff Dodson. It offers a hard, dark sound ideal for twisted trailers.
