Fast Company reports that Aereo will expand its online TV viewing service into the Boston area on May 15. Pre-registered users will have access to the service until May 30, at which time all consumers across Massachusettes, New Hampshire and Vermont. Viewers will be able to watch 28 over-the-air broadcast channels, including PBS and Fox, on their computers and mobile devices. The move sticks to an ambitious plan Aereo unveiled in January, in which it announced expansion into 22 major US cities, with Boston being the first.
