It’s already time for this: A group of action stars are stuck quarantining together when their production gets shut down due to the pandemic. Allegedly based on the production of Jurassic World: Dominion, in which the cast got stuck in the U.K. for months, Netflix’s The Bubble follows a production that’s forced to remain in their hotel, including a divorced couple who have to quarantine together.
The film comes from Judd Apatow and is co-written by Pam Brady, who created Maria Banford’s Lady Dynamite. Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, WW84) star as the lead actors of dinosaur-focused (natch) film franchise, while David Duchovny and Leslie Mann are the divorced couple. Mann, who is married to Apatow, is the mother of Iris Apatov, who also stars. The movie also features Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), Keegan-Michael Key (Schmigadoon), Peter Serafinowicz, Vir Das and Rob Delaney.
The Bubble debuts on Netflix on April 1.
