In partnership with Hulu + Live TV, Abbott Elementary is offering guests a tour of the school as if they were joining as new staff members. The tour includes five unique school environments featured in the show, including a variety of props and furniture from the set, and will be led by professional improv actors playing staff members.

The five areas are the front entrance, hallway, Principal Ava’s office, Janine’s classroom and the gym. Each area will offer visitors something fun to do. Before they even enter the school, visitors will queue up at the front entrance where they will see a mural from the series, be greeted with a welcome video and can take a photo with the Abbott Elementary school bus.

Next up is the hallway, where they will be officially welcomed by a staff member while they peruse works of art submitted by fans via the Abbott Elementary fan art contest. They might even hear important announcements from Principal Ava (Janelle James) over the PA.

When they enter Principal Ava’s office, visitors can sit for their personalized credential that they can take home as a memento of the experience.

From there, they’ll head into classroom of favorite teacher, Janine (series creator, writer and executive producer Quinta Brunson) where they can take a virtual assessment that will match them with their perfect Abbott staffer and then give them a sticker featuring that character. While there, they’ll also have the opportunity to donate to real teachers in need through Scholastic’s ClassroomCounts program and to write a postcard thanking a teacher.

Finally, visitors will go to the gym where they can enjoy live performances from either a professional step dance crew or a double dutch jump rope team. They’ll also get some free merch to take home, including an Abbott Step gym bag perfect for customizing with pins and a reusable stainless steel water bottle that they can fill up at the water cooler. Before heading out, they can hang out on the bleachers and watch episodes from the show’s just-completed first season.

The series will also host a live virtual panel in the Hilton’s Indigo Ballroom on Thursday, July 21 at 1:30 p.m. Participating are three-time Emmy nominee Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Emmy nominee James (who’s also hosting ABC’s new game show, The Final Straw, this summer), Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter, William Stanford Davis, Emmy nominee Sheryl Lee Ralph and executive producers Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker. IndieWire’s Marcus Jones will moderate.
