Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki, the God of Mischief (also known as Thor’s underappreciated brother) in Disney+‘s next Marvel series, Loki, coming June 11. Opposite Hiddleston is Owen Wilson, playing a very relaxed seeming immortal being known as Mobius M. Mobius who is high up in the organization known as the Time Variance Authority (TVA).

Mobius pulls Loki from whatever reality he was in to rearrange the timeline he messed up when he absconded with the Tesseract in Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame.

“You picked up the Tesseract, breaking reality,” Mobius tells Loki in their first meeting. “I want you to help us fix it.”

It doesn’t seem like Loki’s going to get a lot of help performing this task—not even a weapon, although he ends up wielding a few.

Loki will be the third original Marvel TV series released on Disney+, following WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which is three episodes into its six-episode run.

Besides Hiddleston and Wilson, Loki also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.

Michael Waldron is head writer and Kate Herron directs.
