In Showtime’s new docuseries, The Fourth Estate, filmmaker Liz Garbus spends a year inside the New York Times as its hard-working reporters, such as Maggie Haberman, cover the chaotic administration of President Donald J. Trump.

The 90-minute premiere covers the administration’s first 100 days, starting with Inauguration Day and moving quickly into the investigation of Russian meddling with the election.

The series is produced by RadicalMedia and Moxie Firecracker Films in association with Impact Partners, with Garbus, Jenny Carchman and Justin Wilkes all producing. Jon Kamen, Dave Sirulnick and Dan Cogan are executive producers.

The Fourth Estate premieres Sunday, May 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT, and then will air on Sundays at 8 p.m. for the next three weeks.
