NBC’s comedies “About a Boy,” “Growing Up Fisher,” dramas “Crisis” and “Believe,” and reality show “American Dream Builders” now have a place to go on the midseason calendar as the network preps to use its huge Winter Olympics platform to launch some new shows.

The Nick Hornby adaptation “About a Boy” will have a preview on Friday, Feb. 21 during the Olympics, then make its official premiere on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 9 p.m.

“Growing up Fisher” stars Jenna Elfman and J.K. Simmons and will use “About a Boy” as its lead-in this spring, debuting Feb. 25 after its preview on Sunday, Feb. 23.

“Crisis,” which has a cast of big names including Gillian Anderson, Dermot Mulroney and “Star Trek’s” Rachael Taylor, hits the airwaves on March 16. The political thriller kicks off when a bus full of children are taken hostage in Washington D.C.

J.J. Abrams’ “Believe,” which makes its official premiere March 16, will offer a preview after “The Voice” on Monday, March 10. Abrams enlisted “Gravity’s” Alfonso Cuarón to direct the pilot.
On the reality front, Nate Berkus will host the new reality competition “American Dream Builders,” which recruits designers and home builders to compete against one another in home renovation.
