Fox revealed its fall schedule on Monday morning, and among the biggest moves were scheduling “Gotham” on Mondays at 8 p.m. leading into “Sleepy Hollow,” and the dismantling of the network’s attempt at an 8 p.m comedy block, moving “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” to Sunday following “The Simpsons” and leading into new sitcom, “Mulaney.”
Per usual, most of Fox’s new shows will premiere in 2015, including “Backstrom,” “Bordertown,” “Empire,” “Hieroglyph,” “The Last Man on Earth,” “Wayward Pines” and “Weird Loners.” Returning shows fans will have to wait until 2015 to see include “American Idol XIV,” “The Following” and “Glee,” among others.

Starring Ben McKenzie (“The OC,” “Southland”), “Gotham” is a retelling of the Batman legend, telling origin stories about Gotham’s most famous villains. McKenzie stars as a young Commissioner James Gordon on his way up the ladder, working with Gotham police legend Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue, Sons of Anarchy, Terriers, Vikings) when they investigate the murder of two of Gotham’s highest-profile citizens: Thomas and Martha Wayne. Along the way, Gordon and Bullock encounter gang boss Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett- Smith), the future Catwoman (Camren Bicondova) and the future Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor). Gordon also befriends 12-year-old Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz, “Touch”), and begins what will become a lifelong friendship.
“Gotham” comes from Warner Bros. Television, and is executive produced by “The Mentalist”’s Bruno Heller.
“Red Band Society”

An unconventional mix of high-school and hospital drama, “Red Band Society” follows a group of teenagers who meet while patients in the pediatric ward at Los Angeles’ Ocean Park Hospital and become fast friends. Nurse Jackson (“The Help”’s Octavia Spencer) oversees the ward, while Dr. Jack McAndrew (“Brothers & Sisters”’ Dave Annable) administers treatment.
“Red Band Society” comes from ABC Studios and Amblin Television, and adapted from the Spanish series “Polseres Vermelles.” Margaret Nagle is executive producer and showrunner, along with Steve Spielberg, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Sergio Aguero.
“Gracepoint”

“Gracepoint” is a 10-episode event series based on the ITV hit, “Broadchurch.” The series stars “Dr. Who”’s David Tennant, reprising his role in the ITV original. The story starts when a young boy is murdered and a new detective (Tennant) comes to town. Soon, the entire town is pulled into the mystery.
Besides Tennant, Anna Gunn, Nick Nolte, Jackie Weaver, Michael Pena also star.
“Gracepoint” is executive produced by Anya Epstein, as well as Dan Futterman, series creator Chris Chibnall, Jane Featherstone, John Goldwyn and Carolyn Bernstein. The series comes from Shine America, Kudos and Imaginary Friends.
“Mulaney”

This autobiographical multi-cam sitcom stars comedian John Mulaney as a stand-up comedian trying to make his way on the circuit until he’s hired to write for comedy legend Lou Cannon (Martin Short). The show also stars Elliot Gould as Mulaney’s wise neighbor, as well as Nasim Pedrad, Seaton Smith, and Zack Pearlman as his group of wacky friends.
“Mulaney” was created and written by Mulaney, and executive produced by Mulaney, Lorne Michaels, David Miner, Dave Becky, Jon Pollack, Andrew Singer and Andy Ackerman.
“Utopia”
The next evolution of unscripted shows such as “Big Brother” and “Survivor,” “Utopia” follows a group of 15 Americans who are moved to an isolated location where they will live for one year and attempt to start their perfect society from scratch.
“Utopia” comes from John de Mol, who also created “Big Brother” and “The Voice,” and Talpa Media USA. Besides Mol, “Dancing with the Stars” Conrad Green, Jon Kroll and David Tibballs will executive produce.
