Creative agency 2C promoted longtime staff members Marni Wagner and Ben Frank to creative directors, and also hired Larry Wiener, former VP, creative of Eclipse Creative, for the same position.
Together, the trio of creative directors is meant to strengthen the content production company’s team.

“The promotions of Marni Wagner and Ben Frank are well-deserved,” said Chris Sloan, founder and chief creative officer of 2C, in a statement. “Both of them have literally grown up with 2C, raising their own abilities over the years as well as the company’s capabilities. Their creativity, strategic sense, leadership and team approach embody the best of 2C.”
Wiener, who most recently served as VP creative at Miami-based Eclipse Creative, previously worked as a freelance writer/producer for 2C.
“Having known Larry as a client, 2C team member, and even competitor, I’ve always had tremendous respect for his creativity and passion,” Sloan said. “We’re thrilled he’s back, and we’ll benefit from the perspective he’s gained while working on the client side.”
Wiener also worked as a supervising producer at Discovery Channel on 360-degree campaigns for shows such as Naked and Afraid, Moonshiners and Alaskan Bush People. He’s also held marketing positions at Tribune, CBS and Fox Networks.
“I’m excited to return to 2C, a fantastic agency with a wildly talented team,” said Wiener. “Over the years, I’ve been both an employee and a client, so this move for me feels a lot like coming home.”
Wagner and Frank also got their starts at 2C as writers/producers, joining the company in 2007 and 2008, respectively.
Wagner worked as a producer on Judge Alex and Cristina’s Court, and was involved in CMT’s award-winning launch promo for Nashville, as well as the syndicated launch of Crime Watch Daily.
Frank has worked on the season launch promos from HBO’s Eastbound & Down, USA Network’s Shooter and CNN’s Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown as well as the NBC Olympics Opening Ceremony promo for Rio 2016 and Telemundo’s upfront presentation.
