1. NBCUniversal’s GasLamp Square Takeover (NBCUniversal)

Fans can hitch a carnival ride on the Gravitron to promote NBC’s new fall series Timeless and take a sharable motion graphic photo to capture their “time travel experience.” That’s just one of the fun things that will happening when NBCUniversal takes over GasLamp Square with activations, giveaways, photo ops and more.

Attendees can also head over to Tin Fish restaurant to take an animated sharable photo with a character from Emerald City, and get a taste of The Good Place with free fro-yo at the network’s pop-up shop.

2. Conan360 VR Experience (TBS)

Get a peek into Conan O’Brien’s world with a virtual reality experience. Inside the TBS booth on the convention floor, fans will get a VR headset—shaped, of course, like a Conan O’Brien Pop! Vinyl figure—to explore what life is like from the talk show host’s perspective. It will also be hard to miss the towering periscope topped with a giant version of the O’Brien figure looming over the convention floor, providing a bird’s eye view as part of a partnership with AT&T.

Fans will also get to take home new editions of the figures including “Superman” Conan, “Stormtrooper” Conan, “Ghostbuster” Conan and “The Joker” Conan. Conan also teamed up with Snickers’ “You’re Not you When You’re Hungry” campaign, where attendees can dress up as fictional superheroes for a branded content video at Petco Park.

And once again, Conan will welcome an all-star lineup of guests—including cast members from Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley— for a week’s worth of live shows taped at San Diego’s Spreckles Theater. Each episode will air on TBS at 11 p.m., and viewers at home will have access to VR content shot throughout the theater.

That’s one of many activations that will be happening at FXhibition at Hilton Bayfront Park. The space will also be heavy on art installations like a 25-foot “infected” Lady Liberty statue to promote The Strain, a giant smashed guitar, complete with broken pieces several feet long, for Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, and a Sculpture Garden featuring busts of iconic characters like Archer’s Pam Poovey, Baskets’ Clown, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Frank Reynolds as the ‘troll’ character from The Nightman Cometh episode. 4. Live Performance of “Archer” on the High Seas (FX)

Hop aboard the Inspiration Hornblower yacht for a special, one night only performance of Archer Live! The on-stage event will showcase the whole cast and crew for a live performance of an episode, complete with fan interactions. The evening includes food, drinks, giveaways, a photo booth and lounge while docked at the marina. The first 300 people will receive an Archer 4-in-1 blanket.

South Park comes to life with Comedy Central’s “South Park 20 Experience” where can explore and interact with 20 iconic scenes from the show. Stop by the Hulu Viewing Lounge to watch episodes, visit “The Coon & Friends Experience” from Ubisoft to explore real-world items from the upcoming video game South Park: The Fractures But Whole, and get cultured by viewing South Park-inspired artwork from 20 artists, curated by world-renown pop culture artist Ron English. 6. Star Trek Celebrates 50 Years with Out-Of-This-World Art Exhibit (CBS)

CBS is boldly going where no one has gone before with the worldwide debut of art exhibit “50 Artists. 50 Years” at Michael J. Wolf Fine Arts to commemorate Star Trek’s 50th anniversary—not to mention the network’s reboot of the series set to premiere in January 2017.

MAC will also show off a cosmic new makeup collection inspired by the show. The celebration also includes author signings, and panels with William Shatner and other Star Trek alumni.

7. Legends of the Hidden Temple VR Experience (Nickelodeon)

For those who never got to answer to King Olmec, here’s a chance to experience Legends of the Hidden Temple with a 360-degree experience that transports fans into the world of action and adventure inspired by the ‘90s game show.

The Nickelodeon booth is taking a page from it’s retro programming block “The Splat” by opening its vault to the Comic Con revelers with throwback activations and events. These include photo ops with life-sized replicas of the Hey Arnold! stoop, the nose from Double Dare, autographs from cast members of shows including All That, costumed characters from SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more.

8. Impractical Jokers Block Party (truTV)

Fans can get up close and personal with the some the dares and punishments from the show—including trying their hand at sumo wrestling, riding a mechanical bull, navigating a corn maze with Benjamin the Cat, and walking a 20-foot tightrope.

This is all happening at the Impractical Jokers Block Party on Saturday from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. in Petco Park. The massive street fair will also feature music from DJ Sid Vicious, food, autograph signing with the Jokers, episode sneak peeks and more.

Before the party, head to Dick’s Last Resort to explore memorabilia from the show at the “Hall of Impractical Jokers.” Fans can play custom games like “Pin the Tail on the Ferret with Blackout Glasses, and eat and drink themed food and beverages.

10. Cartoon Network Fan Experience (Cartoon Network)

Cartoon Network is pulling out all the stops with the first-ever live Steven Universe musical panel, where series cast and composers—include Grammy winning musician Estelle (the voice of Garnet)—will perform with the crowd.

The network is also turning its Powerpuff Yourself online avatar maker into an interactive booth designed to look like Townsville, where fans will be able to print their creations on shirts and tote bags. It should be easy to find, with larger-than-life balloons of Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup suspected from the booth.

Also don’t miss dressing up as your favorite Cartoon Network character at the Costume Ball and Screening on Thursday, and join in on an Adventure Time Card Wars Tournament on Saturday.
