YouTube has unveiled the new trailer for its “book club” original series, BookTube.
Every month, top YouTubers gather with bestselling authors to discuss their latest books. It kicks off with Malcolm Gladwell, author of the self-help book “Talking to Strangers,” on Oct. 17.
Other authors include Margaret Atwood (“The Handmaid’s Tale” and “The Testaments”), James Patterson (“Alex Cross”) and Melinda Gates (“The Moment of Lift”).
The digital series follows the successful Michelle Obama special, which discussed the former first lady’s 2018 memoir, “Becoming.” Since launching on the platform in March, it has garnered over 1.5 million views.
