The broadcast upfronts are upon us, and even though the fall schedule matters much less today than it used to, this is still the time of year when networks present their wares to advertising, hoping they’ll buy in.
Following is a list of who’s presenting where next week in New York City, and what’s been picked up, thrown out and renewed. Our apologies if your favorite (sorry, “Community”) didn’t make the cut.

Several cable and Spanish-language networks also will be making their presentations next week, including ESPN, all of the NBCUniversal cable networks and Telemundo and Universal.

Brief will be posting trailers of new shows just as fast as our little fingers can type so check back often. In the meantime, Deadline has posted photos from many of the new drama pick-ups.

NBC:

With “The Voice” and “The Blacklist” on its schedule — not to mention NFL football and the Winter Olympics — NBC won its first adults 18-49 race in a decade. Part of that was because of NBC’s renewed strength, but an equal part was the weakness of its peers, particularly Fox as former juggernaut “American Idol,” entering its 14th season, winds down.

Fox:

This year marks the start of Fox’s pledge to no longer participate in pilot season (and to read a long discussion about it, see Joe Adalian’s interview with Fox Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reily on Vulture) and so far Reilly is making good on his promises, ordering several shows early and straight to series. Early buzz is already building for Batman origin story, “Gotham,” starring “Southland"’s Ben McKenzie. “Family Guy” hadn’t been renewed at press time, but that just seems to be a formality (or a long financial negotiation).

ABC

ABC is struggling, no doubt, but it ended this season on a high note, with huge ratings for Sandra Oh’s exit from “Grey’s Anatomy” and a strong performance from “Scandal.” “Resurrection” also surprised everyone by entering the field in a messy midseason and coming on strong. Next season, ABC is going to double down on both Marvel and drama diva Shonda Rhimes, adding new series from both. Still, ABC has a lot of rebuilding to do, especially in the comedy department.

CBS waited until late last week to reveal its pickups, adding a second NCIS spin-off, and a drama from the prolific Kevin Williamson (“Stalker”).
