To hype the 2014 FIFA World Cup and to get its fans properly motivated for the upcoming matches, UK broadcaster ITV took you YouTube and other social nets to discover viewers’ “goal faces.”
Using its World Cup microsite, Twitter or Facebook, soccer fans are being asked to submit their best “goal faces” to the channel. ITV will then retweet and send out its favorites leading up to the tournament.
ITV and ITV4’s World Cup programming includes 20 matches from the group stages, with live streams via its ITV player and on demand, and 34 games across its other properties.
