There’s a lot of content to digest as every network, syndicator and major station group gathers under one roof for four days devoted to television station marketing and promotion professionals at PromaxBDA’s annual conference.

Station Summit 2016, running from June 21-24 in Las Vegas, is jam packed with content broken down into three tracks: Leadership, Craft and Digital Innovation to address everything from the quickly changing broadcasting landscape to the skills and insight you need to be more effective at your job and make a difference for your station.

Making of a President 2016
Tuesday, June 21, 8 a.m.

For the first time ever, some of the country’s top political journalists will appear together on the same stage to prove an insider’s view from the epicenter of this year’s wildly unpredictable presidential election.

Speakers include John Dickerson, CBS News political director and anchor of Face the Nation; Martha Raddatz, co-anchor of This Week with George Stephanopoulos, and ABC news chief global affairs correspondent; and Chuck Todd, NBC News political director and moderator of Meet the Press. The keynote session will also be moderated by Frank Biancuzzo, senior vice president/group head of Hearst Television.

The trio will dissect the 2016 Presidential race during a panel discussion around the intense media coverage surrounding this year’s election, and the important role broadcast journalism plays in the political process.

A Conversation with Harry Connick Jr.
Wednesday, June 22, 8 a.m.

The Grammy and Emmy-winning musician and actor will give a keynote presentation about his creative journey as he enters broadcast syndication with the new daytime entertainment show Harry.

From concert halls around the world to Hollywood movie screens, the Broadway stage and primetime television, Connick has done it all.

“We look forward to welcoming him to the Station Summit stage to hear first-hand about the creative process he applies to all of his ventures and what is in store for his new show Harry, premiering in the fall,” said Steve Kazanjian, President and CEO, PromaxBDA.

Produced and distributed by NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution, Harry will reflect Connick’s hosting and entertainment skills, as well as his broad career in music, film, television, and Broadway with a live band, comedic segments, man-on-the-street interviews, live musical performances, parodies, audience participation and more surprises.

Secrets to Making Promos that Work
