After being in various stages of pandemic-related lockdown for almost a year, Christmas offers a mixed bag. December also has a few exciting series premieres, including Amazon’s fifth and penultimate season of The Expanse and CBS All Access’ remaking of Stephen King’s The Stand, starring James Marsden and Alexander Skarsgard.
