WGN America will resume the dramatic saga of Noah Funk’s double life, however, it will be more complex than ever.

The network announced the second season of Pure, the Mennonite drug drama series that shows a closed, secretive subculture through the eyes of a man trying to protect his family and preserve his faith.

The announcement is paired with key art and a teaser trailer that shows Noah’s wife, Anna (Alyson Paxton-Beesley) a year after her husband’s disappearance. In order to protect her family, Anna finds herself in the middle of an adverse situation with the drug ring she once fought to take down.

Ryan Robbins and Paxton-Beesley will be returning for the sophomore season. Alyson Hannigan (How I Met Your Mother, American Pie) will join the cast as a recurring guest star.
