At the end of the 2015 comedy series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, the counselors at Camp Firewood agree to meet up again 10 years later, “to see what kind of people we’ve blossomed into,” as Bradley Cooper’s character puts it.

Now, it’s time to follow through on the perfect setup for a sequel. Netflix announced plans for a new series Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, to premiere sometime in 2017. The eight, 30-minute episodes will be written by David Wain and Michael Showalter, and directed by Wain.

Netflix’s promo shows that ending scene from First Day of Camp, which features much of the older and now-famous cast in an oddly timewarped prequel to the original 2001 Wet Hot American Summer cult classic film.

Almost the entire original cast, including Janeane Garofalo, Christopher Meloni, Michael Ian Black, Amy Poehler, and Bradley Cooper, will show up for the reunion.
