Virtual multichannel video programming distributor (vMVPD) Vidgo on Tuesday launched a new look and logo and also streamlined its user experience across all platforms. The upgrade also includes partnerships with connected-TV providers and a newly launched Cinedigm bundle.
“We have reimagined what easy access to an affordable streaming service should look like,” said Derek Mattsson, Vidgo CEO, in a statement. “With Vidgo’s app available on the most popular connected TV and streaming devices – including Roku, Vizio, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices – our subscribers now have unlimited access to their favorite shows, sports and news at home and on the go.”
Vidgo’s new red, white and blue logo – changed from the company’s former palette of black, white and burnt orange – pays patriotic homage while reminding subscribers that they have the “Freedom to be Entertained,” as per their tagline. Salt Lake City, Utah-based Vidgo offers 35 sports networks, including offerings from the NFL, NHL, international soccer tournaments and more.

The reconfiguration includes a new user experience and user interface with enhanced tile navigation online and on the Vidgo app as well as an improved discovery feature. Vidgo also offers advanced search and filter capabilities to allow users to search content by genre, title, popularity, language, geography and more.
Vidgo also provides subscribers with access to Cinedigm’s content library, which includes Fandor, Screambox, RetroCrush, The Bob Ross Channel, Dove, AsianCrush, El Rey Network, Bloody Disgusting, Comedy Dynamics and more.
Vidgo offers three packages, beginning with Vidgo Plus for $59.95, with more than 110 channels and more college sports than any other service; a Premium plan at $79.95 with unlimited access to more than 150 television networks and Spanish-language VidgoMás with 42 live and on-demand Spanish-language channels for $39.95. VidgoMás includes content from Univision and UniMás local broadcast stations, as well as Fox Deportes and Discovery Familia.
