​Today Twitter found a new way for marketers to collect personal information of users and fans using one tweet. Through its Lead Generation Card, marketers ask for, in an expanded tweet, users’ names, email addresses and Twitter handles. If the user chooses to share it, they can receive special deals or more information from the marketers. The cards can also be used as promoted tweets. Advertisers Priceline and Full Sail University are the first to use it for now.
