Turns out Twitter is for more than just learning the latest news or seeing what your favorite comic/actor/fashionista thinks about the news of the day. It’s also for following TV writers’ fights.
This Twitter-authored blog follows along as the writers of CBS’ “Elementary” try to take on the writers of Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow” in an epic Twitter battle over the attractiveness of their respective antagonists (“Sleepy Hollow”‘s has no head so this was an easy victory for “Elementary,” whose villain is currently played by Natalie Dormer), followers and socks (see photo below).

“Elementary”‘s earnest writers also managed to drag other writers’ rooms into the mix, including “CSI” and “American Horror Story.”

It’s all in good fun, with the result being that both teams have more Twitter followers than when they started (see opening graphic). And isn’t that the point?
