TV Land released a trailer for the upcoming original series Nobodies, executive produced by real-life couple Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone.

The comedy series revolves around the lives of three screenwriters — Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf, and Rachel Ramras — each clamoring to bring an A-list actor on board in order to sell their script.

In the teaser, the three screenwriters pitch a project called “Mr. First Lady” in a meeting. When the execs at the table don’t seem impressed and appear to get up, Rachel stands up and suggests Melissa McCarthy’s name to play the president. Later, she reasons with her co-screenwriters that “This way Melissa will just sort of be naturally tricked into doing it.”

All three of the series’ actors who play screenwriters in Nobodies (Davidson, Dorf, and Ramras) also write and executive produce the TV Land series.

Guest stars in the series include Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Allison Janney, Jim Rash, and Nat Faxon, while McCarthy’s husband Ben Falcone directs and features in the pilot episode.

According to Deadline, TV Land has already picked up a 12-episode second season of the comedy before it premieres.

Nobodies premieres Wednesday, March 29 at 10 p.m. ET on TV Land.
