Before fans can crowd the panels at Comic-Con this year for their favorite TV hits, viewers can get a first look at upcoming content at another festival.

For this year’s South by Southwest festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, television series like HBO’s “Silicon Valley” and El Rey Network’s “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series” will preview in a new section called Episodic.

Screenings became part of an official section of the festival’s lineup after past successful launches of HBO’s “Girls” and A&E’s “Bates Motel.” Under the Film banner at the festival, the Episodic theme will run from March 7-15 and will also feature previews of Fox’s “Cosmos,” Hulu’s “Deadbeat,” AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire” and Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful.” The rest of the festival’s lineup was largely announced this week.
