ABC’s official trailer for Marvel’s Inhumans sets the stage for a series packed with betrayal between two brothers and the fight for freedom.
The story, based on the comic books, follows a race of alien-human super-beings who have unlocked strange, powerful gifts. They are led by King Black Bolt (Anson Mount), whose voice is so powerful that his slightest whisper can destroy a city.
Black Bolt is struggling to keep his crown while his evil brother Maximus (Iwan Rheon, Game of Thrones) plots to usurp him. After a military coup separates the royal family, they escape to Hawaii to find a way to reunite and return to their home before their lives are forever destroyed.
The series also stars Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Ken Leung as Karnak, Serinda Swan as Medusa, and Isabelle Cornish as Crystal.
Inhumans marks ABC’s third Marvel TV series after Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and the cancelled Agent Carter.
In a multi-platform production, distribution and marketing agreement, the first two episodes will debut in IMAX theaters on September 1, where they will run exclusively for two weeks before the show premieres on ABC on September 29 at 8 p.m.
