The Weather Channel is teaming with retailer Lands’ End in a two-year partnership to exclusively outfit the channel’s on-camera meteorologists.

The two-year partnership was announced Tuesday morning live from Dodgeville, Wisconsin, with anchor Jim Cantore wearing different pieces of gear throughout the chilly morning.

As part of the brand pairing, Weather Channel meteorologists will share insights on how Lands’ End products help them in the field, while giving the brand feedback on how its outerwear and apparel performs under all kinds of weather conditions.

Lands’ End is not only providing the network’s meteorologists and weather anchors with outerwear and accessories for extreme weather, it’s also providing everyday apparel, including polo shirts and chino pants. As part of the deal, the retailer is providing The Weather Channel’s on-camera meteorologists with a uniform to be worn when the weather is not severe.

Lands’ End is providing outerwear and accessories for severe weather conditions, as well as everyday apparel for calmer weather, such as polo shirts and chino pants. For the first time, The Weather Channel’s on-camera meteorologists will wear a coordinated ‘uniform’ for non-severe weather reporting.

“This partnership is a natural fit for our two companies. The Weather Channel and Lands’ End are both iconic American brands that remain authentic to their roots while innovating for today and the future,” said Dave Shull, chief executive officer, Weather Group, in a statement.
