The Simpsons once again team up Fox Sports in an animated promo to countdown to the 59th running of the Daytona 500 on Fox.

Fox Sports’ marketing strategy expands on a Simpsons campaign called “Daytona Day” from last year.

Two-time Daytona 500 winner Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and four-time NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon, who is currently a Fox NASCAR analyst, team up with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and the rest of the gang from Springfield in the 30-second animated spot.

“It was really cool … it’s such a popular show,” Gordon said in a statement about his involvement in the promo. “Whether they are making fun of you or not, it’s just an honor to be a part of it.”

On Sunday, Super Bowl LI viewers got a sneak peek of the spot, which will air during The Simpsons this Sunday, Feb. 12, and again on Feb. 19 at 8 p.m. ET.

“The Simpsons promo was a successful cornerstone of last year’s Daytona Day campaign, and NASCAR is honored to work with Fox on the initiative again this year,” said Jill Gregory, NASCAR senior vice president and chief marketing officer, in a statement. “As a past Daytona 500 champion making his return to racing, it’s only fitting that Dale Earnhardt Jr. join the Simpsons to build anticipation for the Great American Race.”

The 59th Daytona 500 will air at 2 p.m. Feb. 26 on Fox.
