Voguing teams go head to head in HBO Max’s new competition series, Legendary, in which the goal is to achieve that aforementioned status via dramatic performances and sick fashion choices. The series draws from the underground ballroom community to determine which houses will rise to the top.
Over the course of the season, eight houses will compete over nine balls for a $100,000 prize.
Performances are emceed by MC Dashaun Wesley and DJ MikeQ and evaluated by celebrity judges Law Roach, Jameela Jamil, Leiomy Maldonado, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Legendary comes from Scout Productions, with Queer Eye’s David Collins, Rob Eric and Michael Williams serving as executive producers. Jane Mun and Josh Greenberg serve as executive producers and showrunners.
Legendary premieres May 27 on HBO Max.
