DC Entertainment’s character isn’t coming to the screen until October, but short teases from The CW like this one are keeping fan interest alive.
In “My Name Is…” The Flash (Barry Allen) simply introduces himself as the fastest man alive, as family and friends worry about him because of the accident that gave him such speed. As The Hollywood Reporter points out, some variation of that introduction was used in the comic book throughout the ‘90s. The CW’s other hero, Arrow, uses a similar narration to tell his story, starting with “My name is Oliver Queen.”
The CW will debut “The Flash” on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
