In today’s episode of The Daily Brief Podcast, PromaxBDA Editorial Director Paige Albiniak talks with The New York Post‘s Robert Rorke about the 69th Annual Primetime Emmys, which took place in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The Emmys—which saw Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, HBO’s Veep, HBO’s Big Little Lies and NBC’s Saturday Night Live all come away with multiple wins—narrowly beat last year in viewers with 11.4 million people tuning in, according to Nielsen. The show, which aired on CBS and was hosted by Stephen Colbert, fell to a new all-time low among primetime’s key adult 18-49 demographic at a 2.5.
